Patrick Walsh grew up in a family owned business in northern Wisconsin. He started his first business enterprise at the age of ten. Except for a brief time, right out of college, he has always been an entrepreneur and business owner.
Soon out of college he was hired as a broadcast producer and writer for a
regional advertising agency in Washington DC. In 1987 he was nominated for a CLIO award for a series of radio spots. 2 months later, the client fired the agency. Sales were off. He was let go. So much for corporate life.
1988 he started a business "for fun", in an industry that had a 96% failure rate in the first six month. Luckily he didn't know that at the time.thankfully, neither did his wife.
Almost immediately he realized that everything he thought he knew about marketing and advertising was wrong. While struggling for a way to make his advertising and marketing efforts pay off he discovered the power of strong, compelling copy; and applied it every aspect of his business.
11 years later, he sold the company, which had grown to 32 employees and had a national and international client base.
Using the real world business growth lessons of bootstrapping and expanding his business, Patrick began working with other business owners, developing marketing and advertising that produced tangible results.
In 2004 he developed the "Marketing Action Plan" (MAP): A simple process by which any reputable, good, business could tap into the hidden resources of revenue, cash flow and profits that's just waiting to be found.
He has worked with hundreds of clients through teleseminars, live workshops and one-on-one client relationships and has shown business owners how to uncover millions of dollars in new revenue from their businesses.
The father of two and the husband of one, Patrick and his wife Carol live outside of Washington, DC in Reston, Virginia.
